Every time
I pass 5713 West Chicago Avenue
there is something different
about the place.
I can't quite put my finger on it.
Since construction began at the end of September, what was once a former Salvation Army thrift store is transforming into the grocery store that Austin deserves. During my latest site visit, the beginnings of what will be our loading dock greeted me. If you recall the trucking saga that consumed much of the development process in 2022, you will remember that after much consternation over the possible widening of a residential street we settled on building an addition that will function as our loading dock, allowing large semi trucks to enter the property from Chicago Avenue.
Here is how it's going.
Have you driven by the building lately? Are you excited for what's to come? Leave a comment and let us know, then share this blog so everyone knows "What's happening?!"
This holiday season lets be grateful for 40 acres fresh market! I know that I will be! Live long and prosper, y'all!
